Plant Care for Forgetful Owners

Are you a plant killer? Is your spider plant wilted, your ivy frail? If so then Plantimation is our solution. For our Spatial Media mid-term we installed a moisture sensor which allowed our plant to “communicate” with us, letting us know when we were doing a good (or bad) job.

We mapped it so you would know when exactly to water it and how much. If the moisture sensor detected levels below a certain level, an animation would trigger saying “Water me!”, then when the optimum amount of water was reached it would say, “I’m full, thank you!”
